A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME:
I joined the staff here at Nichols in September of 2006 and have had the pleasure of getting to know and teach many talented students. Before coming to Nichols, I attended the University of Louisville to earn my Bachelor and Master's degrees. My undergraduate studies were focused on Art, and I majored in Art with a concentration on Ceramics. My graduate studies were focused on teaching methods, and I received my Master's degree in 2006 after student teaching at Cane Run Elementary and Highland Middle School. I am certified in the state of KY to teach the Arts to all grades, kindergarten through twelfth.
Outside of my time here at school, I put family first. My husband and I have been married for fifteen years. We have two kiddos, Wyatt (seventh grade) and Avery (third grader here at Nichols). Together, we love playing outside, cooking, crafting and spending time with our family and friends.
I'm looking forward to many more years of teaching at Nichols Elementary. Our students are excited about learning, and as a teacher, that's exactly what I'd wish for.
